Subject: Bradford C. T. 760 (NNU 224)
Chassis: BUT 9611T
Body: Weymann H32/26R
Location: Thornbury depot
Date: mid-1960s

The half-drop ventilators on the front windows upstairs always made this batch look a little sad and 760 has every reason to be sad. It is withdrawn and was the only one of the batch to remain in service, on paper at least, following the closure of the Crossflatts service at the end of October 1963. However, it is believed not to have operated again from that date until official withdrawal in January 1964. It ended up being one of the first to be sold as well, one of four of the batch which left in May 1965 (the rest lay in store for another two years).

Behind 760 are three of the fourteen Weymann-bodied AEC Regent IIIs from the 1-40 batch which were withdrawn in 1963/64, with the rest lasting until 1968/69.
