A Caerphilly Busways Metrorider pair, with a long version in front (257) whilst the one behind is one which was new to Rhymney Valley (2113). The one behind was an earlier, MCW-built version and the differences can be noted.
257 is working to Bargoed via Gelligaer, a service jointly operated by Caerphilly Busways and Harris Coaches. It was an extension of the former Gelligaer UDC service 2 southwards from Ystrad Mynach to Caerphilly but of the two buses an hour, one still only ran from Bargoed to Ystrad Mynach.
