Seen from a Rochdale-bound tram using the original route following the old railway, not long before it closed, an Optare Solo of Stott’s is crossing the tracks whilst M5000 tram 3032 is waiting to cross in the other direction. It’s difficult to confirm the identity of the Solo, but the detail differences between vehicles of the type indicate that it is the one shown above.
