As bus 543 this was an early withdrawal from the batch of twenty and in 1962 became pole-painters lorry 043 as seen here. Tucked away with withdrawn BUTs in Thornbury depot it looks out of use in 1965 but in fact remained in stock until 1972 being renumbered 065 in 1971 and again to 026 in 1972. The handcart adds a period touch to the scene.
