Bradford had quite a large fleet of ancillary vehicles over the years. However, those related to the trolleybus fleet were, in the main, tower wagons. The initial preference was mainly for AECs but six Karriers joined the fleet between 1936 and 1949. A single Bedford came from Leeds in 1954 and the last purchases were two Austin FGK60s that arrived in 1962 and saw out the end of trolleybus operation and beyond.

One other vehicle was former AEC Regent III bus 543, the Northern Coachbuilders body of which was cut down to adapt it for use by the team of pole painters.
