One a gloomy January day Metro-Scania 13 sets off from Cilfynydd to Pontypridd from where it will operate the Mound Road circular.
To the left, beyond Cross Street, is the impressive building forming the Commercial Hotel whilst above the bus is the derelict Cilfynydd Billiard hall which was destroyed by fire in 1981. Just visible to the right of that building is a semi-circular window belonging to the Workmen’s Hall.
