1058 was new to Lincolnshire in Jan-1978 and would at that time have been in standard NBC leaf green, only receiving this livery after deregulation and the subsequent privatisation of NBC companies. The later RoadCar fleet name can be made out above the registration plate. It was sold to National Welsh in 1991 as a driver training vehicle and although numbered 1053 in the ancillary vehicle series it didn't carry that number. The livery is very similar to that on ex-Eastern National MAR 797P on the left.
