Two trolleybuses approach the terminus in Saltaire. The use of the route number 41 on the leading one implies it has operated a short working from Thackley. 681 had been rebuilt by Salmesbury Engineering in 1950, gaining sliding ventilators instead of half-drops. With this rebuilding it lasted until May 1961, a very creditable twenty-two years.
