678 is on a tour and has visited the rarely-photographed loop at the junction of Rooley Lane and Mayo Avenue. Stanley King's book refers to two loops on opposite sides of the road in this are as "Birch Lane", a thoroughfare that has since been severed from Rooley Lane by new developments, not to mention the junction at the end of the M606. However, a complete lack of photographs of these loops, or references in timetables, means that I have no evidence of what the terminus was officially called.
