Taff-Ely 21 only ran about nine months for Pinnacle Travel and then moved to Alpine in Llanrwst, operating local services around Llandudno.

It was last licensed in 1991 and went for scrap the following year. Crosville Wales took over the services of Alpine Bus in July 1995 and maintained the identity for a period.

Note that Alpine have carried out an economy repaint, painting the red around the original Taff-Ely lettering which therefore remained on a blue background.
