This unusual view at an unusual location has plenty of interest. These two Longwell Green bodies were unlike any other bus bodies - they were the only front-entrance double-deckers built by the company. An unusual feature is the use of standard vehicle side trafficator units at the rear - these were later replaced by more conventional fittings.
The yellow arm of a piece of plant at the extreme left indicates that demolition of the prefab houses that used to stand on the other side of the road had just been completed.
