Subject: Rhondda 263 (LNY 344)
Chassis: AEC Regent III 9613A
Body: Weymann H30/26R
Location: Porth, Cymmer Road
Date: Aug-1956

263 is very much in original condition here, seen when only three years old. As can be seen, this batch also were not fitted with nearside mirrors when new.

Given the absence of crew and, to a large extent, passengers, it is reasonable to assume that this was a journey starting from Porth. The Rhondda Fawr services had resumed operating through to Pontypridd a couple of years earlier having been curtailed at the beginning of the war.
