745 had spent some years as driver training vehicle 060, from December 1967 to February 1968 being isolated in the training track by Bowling depot as the Wakefield Road wires had been de-energised. Surprisingly it was then restored to passenger service along with 749 which had been in store for four years.

Seen in front of the depot at Thornbury, it seems to have acquired new scars after those from its driver training days were repaired.
