745 had replaced the last surviving 'Regen' as driver tuition vehicle in 1965 and spent quite some time out in the open in Bowling yard, numbered 060. It was therefore a great surprise when it returned to passenger service in 1968 and reverted to its former number.

It was an obvious vehicle to use for a tour and is seen at Thornbury at the beginning of such an event.
