698 heads for Bankfoot and is passing, just off-camera to the right, Newhall. This Grade II listed building dates back to 1672. After use latterly as a golf clubhouse it became disused for some time but following refurbishment it is now home to Bradford's Telegraph and Argus newspaper, amongst others.

This was almost the end for Rooley Lane trolleybuses, with the 34 ceasing just two days later.
