773 is looking rather shabby here, an impression greatly assisted by the incompletely-removed advert. There are also a lot of black streaks below the upper deck windows, these are often an indication of body flexing.

The terminus here involved a U-turn in what was a large open area, although it hadn't always been thus. Until the early 20th Century there was a dog-leg in High Street and there were buildings where 773 stands and in the foreground too.
