Whilst Stott's normally quickly repaint their buses into fleet livery, occasionally vehicles are pressed into service in the livery of their former owner. GNC 288N is in Uppermill square in Grey-Green livery on 26th March 1990 and it can be seen it was 510 in that fleet. Originally it was 7423 in the Greater Manchester Transport fleet. When new it was allocated two other registrations before being issued with the one seen.
