Subject: H & C Transport, Garston FTX 191 and HLW 192 Chassis: AEC Regent III O961 Body: Weymann H30/26R and Park Royal H30/26R Location: unknown Date: c.1960
FTX 191 had been Rhondda 217 and was one of five Regent IIIs with RT-type chassis supplied to Rhondda. It is next to a genuine RT which had been RT205 in London. Both joined the H & C fleet in 1959 but whilst the former London bus remained until 1968 FTX 191 moved to Lloyd’s of Nuneaton in 1961. It had been fitted with seats from a London trolleybus.
