The driver of 485 is just getting in or out of the cab, it's difficult to tell which. 485 is at the Rhondda Fach terminus of the inter-valley route formerly the R30 but now the 530.
This splendid view is taken on a clear day and in the distance can be seen the road climbing over the mountain to Aberdare over which Red & White's 172 service ran.
