Subject: Bradford C. T. 784 (CBX 914)
Chassis: Karrier W
Body: East Lancs H35/28R
Location: Dudley Hill, Tong Street
Date: c.1966

784 is entering Dudley Hill on its way inbound from Holme Wood. It will have joined Tong Street in the distance near the chimney seen to its right belonging to J. Cawthra's Perseverance Mills. Another trolleybus can be seen in the distance and is almost certainly one from Tong Cemetery.

The location here is now changed out of all recognition with the A650 having become a dual carriageway which drops below the surrounding land to pass under the ring road. Most of the buildings visible have gone, including St. John's Church at the extreme right.
