BLVTX431

Subject: Priory Furniture, Droylsden VTX 431
Chassis: AEC Regent V LD3RA
Body: Weymann H37/33F
Location: Droylsden, Saxon Mill
Date: c.1975

431 also went via North's, this time to Bennett's Woodwork, later named Priory Furniture, of Droylsden. It is seen at Saxon Mill which was off Medlock Street in Droylsden and next to the Hollinwood branch of the Ashton Canal. It was demolished in 1995.

431 remained there until 1977 and was scrapped the following year. Rhondda must have missed this one when they came to painting out identification, which was still their policy at the time, so unusually it still carries fleet name and number.
