A combination of longevity of the fleet and enlightened management has resulted in a very comprehensive selection of Innsbruck trams surviving. Fortuitously the conversion of the Stubaitalbahn (STB) to DC and extension into the centre released not only vintage stock from that line but more usefully suitable premises for a museum in the form of the old STB depot, no longer required, and the Stubaitalbahnhof building.
A museum has developed here and this collection shows some of the vehicles kept there. Trips are run round the network by vintage trams and these are also featured.
