Subject: Bradford C. T. 739 (DKY 739) Chassis: Karrier W Body: East Lancs H37/29F Location: Thornbury depot Date: 18-Mar-1972
714 and 739 were both withdrawn with the conversion of the Clayton, Wibsey and Buttershaw services at the end of July 1971, although 739 fell short by just a couple of days.
I have a note that 705 and 729 were destroyed by fire on 3rd December 1971 and presume those two vehicles are those hidden behind 714 which has also suffered some fire damage. All four vehicles were sold at the same time which supports that conclusion.
