I suspect this photograph was taken in the morning peak when buses were timetabled as close together as five minutes and could therefore ‘bunch’ quite easily so that two could be together like this.
The front end of 11 has received some modification, possibly to improve ground clearance (but not its appearance!).
The higher-backed seating fitted during its spell as a dual-purpose vehicle can just be made out inside.
