Subject: Western Welsh HR3569 (VTG 509G)
Chassis: Leyland Atlantean PDR1A/1
Body: Northern Counties H42/31F
Location: Cardiff, Saunders Road
Date: 10-Dec-1977

Red & White would be taken over completely by Western Welsh in just three weeks, a change which would lead to the creation of the new identity National Welsh. At this date, though, former Rhondda 509 is carrying the fairly short-lived NBC-style Rhondda fleet name. It is just turning into the bus station at the conclusion of its journey from Maerdy.
