Subject: Western Welsh 510 (VTG 510G) Chassis: Leyland Atlantean PDR1A/1 Body: Northern Counties H42/31F Location: Cardiff, Wood Street Date: early-1970s
It can be difficult to be sure whether 510 was arriving at Cardiff or just leaving. At this time I believe the 320/321 entered Cardiff via Westgate Street but left crossing the Taff on Wood Street and picking up the inward route by using Lower Cathedral Road. The consequence of this being that it would traverse this section of Wood Street both inbound and outbound. So has the blind been changed before arrival?
510 is in Western Welsh livery and would in time become HR969, HR3669, HHR3669 and finally XR1995.
