LR717 is very close to its home depot, now the Cardiff Transport Preservation Group's museum. The 305 service ran from Cardiff to Barry via Gibbonsdown and was generally worked as a circular, returning to Cardiff via Wenvoe as a 353/354.

It is carrying an overall advertisement for The Brickyard, a scheme it carried for a couple of years.
