Subject: Mid-Wales Motorways BEP 252 Chassis: Daimler CVD6 Body: Burlingham C33F Location: Cardiff bus station Date: May-1958
Whilst most operators using Cardiff bus station were almost a constant presence, there were some operators who appeared much less frequency such as Mid-Wales with their Newtown to Cardiff service. The Daimler engine was smooth running even if it did have other problems, and made for a very refined coach.
This service was taken over by Crosville and Western Welsh in August 1963 and proved to be the beginning of the TrawsCambria service, although that name didn't appear until 1979.
