On 16th May 1998 this unusual Marshall Minibus (one of two new to Hatton's of St. Helens) was working an evening tendered journey on the 355 operated by Universal Buses. It is passing under the viaduct at Brownhill (near Uppermill). Although not visible on this photograph, the substation to the right still carries the legend "SHMD".
