UEC supplied a batch of five cars (14-18) to Chester in 1907 which completed the intake of trams to this fleet. They were rather small cars, partly because the network had been converted from a horse tramway. Their size made them look old-fashioned even when they were new.

The trams carried a livery of apple green and ivory. The last trams ran on 15th February 1930.

The mark in the bottom left corner is the photographer's name embossed in the print - "E. Hoole Photo Preston".
