This was an unplanned photograph as I didn't realise this bus was coming. UC4169 speeds through the terminus at Blaenrhondda on its way to Fernhill Colliery. This was the second special bus that had gone there, the previous one being Tiger Cub U4866 (HBO 382D) seen elsewhere.
The bus is identifiable by design features, including the retention of the polished trim skirt panels which were removed from the rest of the batch. This vehicle had transferred to Porth in 1976 and would be withdrawn not long after this photo as it was sold, eventually going for scrap, in Jun-1980.
