Time has not been kind to this older colour view of 47, which was the last of the batch recorded as being rebuilt with rubber-mounted windows only a few months before this picture, in February 1963. The modification in this case seems to have been rather limited and to involve just the fixed cab side windows and the original destination box which was retained but re-panelled and with a rubber-mounted destination glass.
