I wish I had taken this splendid shot of ND426 at the end of the route in Cwmparc. Most of Cwmparc can be seen below and across the valley is Mynydd yr Eglwys with Maerdy hidden on the other side of it.

At this time Cwmparc was served by this short 139 route from Treorchy. Evening and Saturday journeys ran via Tallis Street and were worked by Bustler minibuses. The 139 didn't fully utilise a bus for the day but there was no other service terminating at Treorchy with which it could inter-work.
