Subject: Rhondda Buses 435 (NWO 469R)
Chassis: Leyland National 11351A/1R
Body: Leyland National DP48F
Location: Talbot Green, talbot Road
Date: 30-Jul-1993

435 is about to turn into Talbot Green bus station on its way to Bridgend from Pontypridd. It's looking a bit battered here and would not remain in service much longer, being withdrawn the following November.

In the bus station is Shamrock K589 TRY working to Cardiff, probably from Pencoed.

What looks like a chimney above the hillside (Y Graig) on the left is actually a tower known as Billy Wynt. The origins of this tower are unclear and it is also much shorter than the name tower would imply as most of it is visible here.
