Subject: Tellings-Golden Miller HR829 (GHB 85W) Chassis: Bristol VRT/SL3/6LXB Body: East Lancs H44/32F Location: Cardiff, St. Mary Street Date: 15-Feb-1992
A quite rare view of a former Rhymney Valley Bristol VRT working for Rhondda Buses, showing the "Rhondda Buses" notice in the windscreen and the white background which distinguished the Tellings-Golden Miller legal lettering.
HR829 was Rhymney Valley 85 and would be withdrawn the following month, passing to Constable, Long Melford is Sep-1992. It remained in East Anglia until 2005 when rescued for preservation, a scheme that failed when it was damaged in an incident in 2007, following which it went for scrap.
