Subject: Rhondda Buses 32 (D32 KAX) on hire as Merseybus 7504
Chassis: Iveco 49-10
Body: Robin Hood B21F
Location: Kirkby, Fareway depot off Hornhouse Lane?
Date: c.Feb-1993

Merseyrider was the low-cost unit of Merseybus and had hired D32 KAX to help out with a higher vehicle requirement due to winning new school contracts. It was one of six vehicles hired (which included sister D31 KAX) and received the temporary fleetnumber 7504, soon to be taken by a new Metrorider. D32 KAX later moved to another Merseybus fleet, Heysham Travel, but is seen here still with Rhondda Buses legal lettering.

The location has not been confirmed but is believed correct, partly because former London DMS 2276 to the left was bought by Fareway, which at this stage was also associated with Merseybus.
