There always seems to be one Derby bus based in the area. For many years it was Crossley 111 (see elsewhere in the gallery) but more recently it has been this Daimler. 27 was present at the ‘hand-over’ ceremony when 111 was collected in 1970.

It has long been recorded as a Daimler CWD6 but it would seem that it is definitely a CVD6, the error being in Daimler’s own records.
