Rhondda 229 is on the Pontypridd to Porth joint service. The two conductors may both be working on this bus as I understand Rhondda did use two conductors on very busy sections, particularly on Saturdays.

This 1947 bus was withdrawn, along with the rest of the batch, as long ago as 1958. Not surprisingly, most of them saw further service and in the case of 229 this was with A1 Motor Services in Ardrossan.
