Subject: Gateshead & District 10 Maker: Gateshead & District Truck: Brill 39E (reversed) Seating: 48 Location: Beamish Museum Date: 15-Jun-1986
At this time the tram service at Beamish was a shuttle between the 1900s town where 10 is seen and the entrance at Foulbridge.
10 had been built in 1925 and had two DK31 50 HP motors with DB1 controllers. The prominent "Front Exit Car" was to improve passenger flow through these long vehicles such that passengers boarded at the rear and alighted at the front.
