Subject: Rhymney Valley D. C. 72 (A72 VTX)
Chassis: Leyland Tiger TRBTL11/2RP
Body: East Lancs DP47F
Location: Nelson, Dynevor Terrace
Date: 27-Dec-1985

1986 is very close and with it the big change of bus deregulation that would ultimately lead to the end of Rhymney Valley council bus operations.

With the light failing, 72 turns into the bus station in Nelson. It has come from Bryncelyn, just to the west of Nelson town centre and is returning to Caerphilly.

72 already carries the new Inter Valley Link livery and fleet name and was the first bus painted in this livery, in September 1985.
