Subject: Rhondda 515 (BTG 515J) Chassis: Leyland Atlantean PDR1A/1 Body: Alexander H42/31F Location: Cardiff bus station Date: c.1972
515 is on its usual service at the time. To the right can be seen former Western Welsh 204 (KKG 204E), a Marshall-bodied AEC Reliance on the long service to Carmarthen. This bus had been transferred to the South Wales fleet along with Neath depot at the beginning of 1972. It retained the same fleet number but has had South Wales pattern fleet numbers applied, although it is still in the Western Welsh blue and ivory livery.
