Subject: City of Cardiff 215 (JBO 345N) and Merthyr Tydfil B. C. 174 (GHB 174J)
Chassis: Leyland National 10351/2R (JBO 345N) and Leyland Leopard PSU3A/2R (GHB 174J)
Body: Leyland National B40D (JBO 345N) and East Lancs B51F (GHB 174J)
Location: Cardiff bus station
Date: c.1975

The Merthyr Tydfil livery had started to change to orange and white not unlike that used by Cardiff, although the arrangement on Merthyr Tydfil's Nationals was different (and they were single door). Next to Cardiff 215 is Merthyr Tydfil 174, still in the older livery. This bus would become the earliest vehicle to pass to the Merthyr Tydfil Transport fleet in 1986 but only lasted until Aug-1987, seeing further service with other operators for just another year.
