Subject: Bradford C.T. trolleybus detail
Chassis: AEC 661T
Body: English Electric H30/26R
Location: Preston, Dick, Kerr works
Date: 1938/39

A view of the cab controls which are, leaving aside the obvious, the air pressure gauges and speedo on the left of the steering column. To the right are the side and tail lights, head lights and the "Horn Silence Switch". Whilst the description gives a pretty good idea what it does, why it would be operated instead of just not using the horn isn't clear! Clarification of its purpose would be very welcome.

To the right, partially hidden by the handbrake, is the trolley indicator.
