After sale to Cyril Evans this coach became largely confined to Caerphilly local services such as that to Mornington Meadows seen here. By this stage Rhondda Buses had taken over the local bus services and some vehicles from Cyril Evans. They then had the fleet name shortened as shown and a Rhondda Buses fleet number (in this case 385) applied. It had been numbered W28 in the Cyril Evans fleet.
