I may have had some information on what the bus was doing and it's always been my understanding that after I photographed it at the depot it left for Cardiff and is seen here returning bound for Maerdy. What isn't clear from timetables is what it would have been working and it may have been a changeover.

The location for the photograph was not ideal with the very light background of the Palace Cinema in the sun and the foreground in the shade.

What doesn't help when trying to work out what is was doing is the route number, but I've since learnt that this was optional equipment in the Rhondda!
