Subject: Rhondda Buses 391 (KWO 560X)
Chassis: Leyland Leopard PSU3F/4R
Body: Willowbrook 003 Mk. II C47F
Location: Aberdare bus station
Date: c.1992

391 has just had its rear end rebuilt - the paintwork is much fresher than on the rest of the vehicle. Although the belief is that this repair was for structural reasons, apparently the glass was also proving very difficult to get hold of. It had originally been the same as the windscreens but with the front ends now being of Plaxton design that may not still have been the case.

The boot area differs in detail from the similar rebuild carried out on 392. When 391 was repainted the fleet name was moved lower down to where the boot would be.
