Subject: National Welsh UD1192 (KWO 561X) Chassis: Leyland Leopard PSU3F/4R Body: Willowbrook 003 Mk. II C47F Location: Tylorstown, East Road Date: 10-Dec-1983
UD1192 had not long been downgraded from a coach at this point and the new number probably coincided with the application of this special livery for the X8, all three of the type allocated to Porth receiving it about this time. The branding would later be modified to take account of the introduction of the X9 service some three months after this photo.
It is heading down the Rhondda Fach in the low winter sunshine and approaching the junction with Penrhys Road.
