This was one of fourteen single-deck bogie cars used to work the routes to Grangetown and along Salisbury Road. Most of this batch were replaced by new single-deckers in 1926/27 but they in turn didn't last long - the Salisbury Road route was abandoned in 1930 and the Grangetown route in 1936.
