Subject: Rhondda Buses 79 (L79 CWO)
Chassis: Volvo B6-50
Body: Plaxton Pointer B40F
Location: Bridgend, Wyndham Street
Date: 31–May-1994

Working the long route from Porthcawl to Aberdare, Volvo 79 stops to pick up in Wyndham Street, Bridgend. The service had to resort to using on-street bus stops when the bus station closed with the demise of National Welsh in 1992, the site eventually being sold to National Car Parks. It was not until October 1996 that the new bus station opened and services were then again able to call somewhere with good passenger facilities.
