Subject: National Welsh ND422 (NWO 456R) Chassis: Leyland National 11351A/1R Body: Leyland National DP48F Location: Rhymney Bridge, Parfitt's depot Date: c.1992
The Rhondda identifier on the front shows that ND422 spent at least its last months at Porth depot before withdrawal in 1991, possibly after accident damage. It was bought by Parfitt's of Rhymney Bridge and seems to have been used as a source of panels for use in the conversion of the ex-London Leyland Nationals from two-door to single-door layout.
